This is my third or fourth order from SOLO Music Gear, usually for smaller parts like potentiometers or fret wire. I needed a set of P90 Pickups this time. I bought a Telecaster Style Kit recently. The parts were all there and the wood quality seemed decent for the price. Building it was straightforward enough. My only real gripe was shipping; it took 7 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about tracking, though.

Ordered a Strat kit, positive experience

I ordered a Stratocaster Style Kit a few weeks ago. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was simple. I got an email confirmation right away. All the components were present, neatly organized in plastic bags. The neck fit the body pocket snugly, and the pre-drilled holes for the bridge and tuners were accurate. The instructions provided were clear, which was helpful since this was my first kit build. The wood quality on the body and neck was good, no major flaws or knots. I also bought some Wood Grain Filler and Sanding Blocks with the kit, and those were of good quality too. Overall, a very positive experience and I'm happy with my purchase.
